Welcome Home!

My passion is to be of service and reduce suffering in this world. I believe it has to do with my childhood upbringing in an alcoholic family, having birth defects, and being smaller than average. Being born with hip dysplasia, it was unclear what type of physical activities I would be able to do growing up.
Fortunately, all went well and I was off and running by the age of 4 yrs old!

I played sports, took martial arts for years, skied, snowboarded, jumped off of cliffs, worked rescuing wolves, went to massage school and graduated with honors, did my 200 hr. then 500 hr. Yoga Teacher Training, trained horses, danced to every style of music, took drum lessons, and became a triple business owner and advocate of Health and Wellness, all before I reached 40.

But this is not about me. I am here to be of service. I am here for you. I am here to walk with you and help you to see that we can all live a more connected, healthy, pain free life of joy and passion.

I am here for you. Let me say that again. I am here to be of service. To share my knowledge of how to feel vibrant, how to have more presence in your daily life, of how to move with ease thought the world.

My ultimate goal for you is that you don't need me anymore. Yes, you heard me right. I want you to learn how to heal yourself. I want you to know what to reach for that will fuel your body, mind, and soul. I want you to have the tools I have used and studied for over 30 yrs. I want you to simply be your true authentic, strong, calm, present, joyful self.

Are you ready to walk with me?

In warmth, Kat Muller

What People Are Saying

Kathy's yoga comes from a place of warmth, care, and creativity. She has a keen eye for the body and has a skillful touch to guide students inward toward their very center. Without a doubt, I recommend Kathy for her gifted touch, understanding of the body and wise direction.

I truly appreciate the depth of Kathy's knowledge and will always benefit from her unwavering effort to promote self-knowledge and the power to heal and understand the world within yourself and your community. Kathy also has an exuberance in her personality and a fire for life's adventures. She moves at, and inspires the appropriate pace given the path before her.

After an almost 20-year career in Massage, Kathy has changed the new incarnation which I call life!
Her in-depth knowledge of Anatomy, combined with her Soul-ful knowledge of Yoga, makes for unparalleled unlocking and making of space in my body! She is a teacher, healer, and Sage for sure. Grateful.

I love taking yoga classes from Kathy. I did yoga many years ago and when my teacher moved away, I couldn't find another like him, not even in the greater Tahoe Basin area. So, I gave up on classes and only did yoga at home. When I met Kathy, we had multiple conversations about what I was looking for in an instructor. She is a very hands-on teacher which is what I was really looking for. I started going to her classes in the last few years and found exactly the class & instructor I had been missing for a very long time. She is careful to not overwork you, as some classes I have experienced. She loves to educate you on anatomy & alignment for your body. She understands that we all have some degrees of asymmetry in our bodies, and she can work around your needs without making you feel like you are slowing the class down. There is also laughter and a lightness that helps everyone feel at ease and comfortable if you are new to yoga.

I have known Kathy Muller Albers since about 2004 and have been sincerely improved by the association. When Kathy opened her yoga studio in our city of Leadville, I began to attend and was extremely happy with the instruction I received. As a lifelong cyclist with a perhaps typical antipathy towards stretching, I arrived at those classes very debilitated and needed an instructor who could work with a person who was essentially less than zero. Kathy proved to be the perfect instructor to break me out of years of neglect and help me onto the path of whole-body health and fitness. During the two years or so that I attended the studio Kathy continued to educate, instruct, and vary our routines in a deepening way so that my knowledge was always improving, and I was consistently challenged as well. I miss the chance to receive instruction of that caliber today. I wholly recommend her as a competent, caring, and knowledgeable partner in any pursuit towards health movement and fitness.

Kathy's massages are unlike any other. Her knowledge and experience make her one of the best massage therapists I've ever had. She has been able to identify and unlock injuries in my body that have held me back for so long, and I am eternally grateful to know this gem of a human. I especially love her Thai Massages because of the rocking and releasing that happens simultaneously with the stretching and deep tissue work. From her fingers to her toes, Kathy has an incredible sense of touch. As a massage therapist myself, even from working on me, she has taught me skills that have hugely impacted my clients. She has a wealth of insight, and I am honored to have the opportunity to work with her continuously. Highly recommend!! Especially if you're dealing with chronic pain and injuries, I guarantee she can work it out. You're the best, Kathy! Thank you for everything!
